Create a mask and a subsequent composite graphic using the Mask from Scratch + the Putting the Mask in Play tutorials covered in this weeks lessons.
MaskRequirement:
1.
Select a (resolution - at least 120 dpi) figure image or nature picture of your own, or one from the text, or one from stock photography, but it cannot be the matchgirl.tif file used in the lesson tutorial.
2.
Create an alpha channel (mask) of the figure (it may be just a head and shoulders picture, or an entire figure).
3.
Send me the psd file, so I can see the mask you created in your channels.
Composite requirement :
1.
Composite the above mask/selection on a background graphic. Finish the graphic utilizing techniques and tools covered in the past four lessons.
2.
Send me a jpeg file of the above composite graphic.
SEND TWO GRAPHIC FILES:
You will email me one psd file demonstrating your mask, and one jpeg file demonstrating the final composited figure graphic.
In the subject field of the e-mail put your last name and first initial with the number of the assignment.
Example: McIntosh J-Homework 5
Please use this format for each assignment that you email me throughout the semester. |
